Toor ki sukhi sabji
Serving –4 nos
Preparation time – 15 mins
Cooking time – 10 mins
INGREDIENTS QUANTITY
Fresh Pigeon peas ½ cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Cumin ½ tspn
Asafetida a pinch
Ginger(chopped) 1 ½ tspn
Green chilly (chopped) 1 tspn
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder ½ tspn
Dry mango powder ½ tspn
Red chilly powder ¼ tspn
Garam masala powder ¼ tspn
Water ¼ cup
Chopped Coriander 2-3 Tbsp
Coconut (grated) ¼ cup
Lemon juice ¼ slice
Method :
1. Heat oil in a non stick pan & add cumin seed , asafoetida , ginger, green chilly , sauté it well .
2. Now add fresh pigeon peas ,sauté it well for 1 mins .
3. Add salt ,turmeric , dry mango powder , red chilly powder , garam masala , mix it well for a min .
4. Now add water ,stir occasionally till it becomes dry , meanwhile roughly chop the coriander leaves , keep aside .
5. Add freshly grated coconut , coriander leaves & mix it well .
6. Drizzle lemon juice on top and Mix well , transfer it to serving plate .
7. Garnish with lemon Slice and Serve hot .
