I don't sculpt much but at some point every clayer gets asked to make a small creature and it helps if you have a go-to recipe. Here's mine for very small animals (bears, in this case). The finished bear is about 30mm / a bit over an inch.
I made a collection of little bears for Valentine's Day projects and little heart notes for them (previous video has the notes!) to give their sweeties.
