Описание: shrink fit is an example of interference fit .interference fit can be achieved by heating and cooling .shrink fit is achieved by cooling .mostly interference fit is achieved by heating the wheel or hole so it can expand then shaft will go easily into hole but this wheel causes some change in chemical composition of material hence in some cases cooling type interference fit is preferred which is called as shrink fit . In shrink fitting shaft is cooled in liquid coolant like nitrogen due to cooling the shaft contracts hence it goes into hole easily and chances of change in chemical composition of material is less .
