Basali ba rona
The song is made in appreciation of women, in condemning gender based violence and actively standing against the perpetrators of abuse. As it is said in Sesotho man and woman "ke balekane", they are equals.
You should work hard for these women, is the general theme. Sneiman illustrates how his woman is the main motivation for him to hustle hard for that money, yes, he is crazy about his woman and quick to rebuke fellows contemplating to go for her. Sneiman is quite a passionate lover, he describes the tender love of a woman articulately and urges folks, if you got her don't play around. Without hesitation he spends on her, regardless the cost.
"Basali ba rona" translated means our women and is conveyed within the context of the fundamentals of getting and keeping a woman. Sneiman in the song is regurgitating what has always been said and still is: "if you want a woman you should pay." Right there I instantly think of the ageless African tradition of paying (typically in cattle) for a bride, and in the context of Basotho this payment is called mahali. Sneiman sings as part of the chorus a cultural game song, whereby men call out the women in awe and vice a versa.
The song is straight up kwaito, on a heavy sub-bass. It's a good jam that will have you on the edge of your seat, in the mood to "get down."
