Is it still possible to play games with an old onboard GPU like the Intel GMA 4500 MHD in 2025?
In this video, we’re testing the performance of a legendary potato PC with the following specs:

📌 Full Specifications Used:
🔹 Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo P7570 (2.26GHz)
🔹 GPU: Intel GMA 4500 MHD (Onboard, Shared VRAM 128MB, DirectX 10)
🔹 RAM: 8GB DDR3 (Dual Channel)
🔹 Storage: EYOTA 256GB SSD
🔹 Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
🔹 Laptop Cooling fan : taffware ice fan III

📌 Minimum Specifications For Games :


⚙️ Settings Used:
I set all the games I play to low settings, with the minimum resolution being 640x480 and 800x600. I also set a few games to 1280x720.

💡 Additional Notes:
🔹The video above is a combination of several old gameplay videos, so my laptop specs were still using a 500 GB HDD, 6 GB RAM, Windows 7 and using a regular laptop cooler.
🔹The GMA 4500 MHD does not support DirectX 11/12 and is limited to DirectX 10
🔹Not all games are able to display FPS using built-in software or tools like MSI Afterburner, Bandicam, or Hialgo Switch

Some games were recorded with an external camera due to extreme lag or the laptop being unable to handle screen recording
