West Hollywood, CA.

We flew out to California to visit family and took the train to L.A. to make the pilgrimage to visit and introduce my sister to LEMMY!! And see the rest of the Sunset Strip!!
(Thank you, Ellen, for doing this with me!! Sagapou!!)

I've been a lifelong MOTORHEAD fan since first hearing about them in 1984. I got to see them a bunch over the years in New Orleans, in Texas, in Hollywood and of course the infamous show at the St. Bernard Civic Center in Chalmette in October of 1986 where a riot broke out 4 1/2 songs into their set!! (Still one of the LOUDEST shows I'd ever been too!!)

We got there super early and had the place to ourselves. The crew there were super nice as always and we took some pictures and some video. This is my second time coming to visit Lemmy (Nov 2018) and the first time. That was the nightshift and when I was still drinking. It was way better doing this sober during the dayshift!!

This is an incredible sculpture with great detail. This was Lem's second home when he wasn't on the road. If you're out on the west coast do yourself a favor and go check this out. Grab a pizza and that awesome chicken soup too!!

Enjoy!!

MOTORHEAD FOR LIFE!!!
