I wasn't really sure where this was going when I mounted this crotch log to the lathe but it turned out full of character so I decided to leave it natural, not attempting to fill or hide the cracks/splits. I added a coat of light oak stain to make the grain pop and then a couple of coats of Osmo wood wax clear.. Thanks for watching..
