Описание: Finding Square Roots by Trial and Error: If your calculator lacks a built in square root function, it is still possible to compute square roots using trial and error. In this lesson, we construct a table to keep track of our answers. In this particular example, each time x^2 exceeds 10, we add one decimal place to the previous value of x and repeat the process. Whereas this method is good from the perspective of building intuitive understanding, it is slow to converge. We will explore faster root finding algorithms in other lessons.
