Описание: I decided to start making string instuments. This is my first project. It's a tamburitza D-prim. The body and neck are made from a solid chunk of hard maple. The top is a piece of spruce saved from a scrap piano, rosewood fingerboard, scratchboard inlay and tailpiece inlay. It has several flaws but overall it came out looking and sounding good. I find it easy to play. After it was completed, I didn't like the spray varnsih, so I removed it and refinished the body with laquer and neck with tung oil.
