This Sunday, Pastor Brent's online message continued our journey through the Voice of Wisdom, inviting us to begin 2026 with deeper devotion and a renewed commitment to center our lives on God’s Word.

We were reminded that wisdom is more than knowledge—it is skillful living shaped by our relationship with Jesus, who Himself is our wisdom. As we face countless decisions this year, we’re called not to be led by emotions, culture, or fleeting desires, but by Scripture, prayer, and Godly counsel. Through the story of Rehoboam, we saw the power of who we listen to and the danger of pride, selfish ambition, and peer pressure. God’s wisdom, in contrast, is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of good fruit. The encouraging promise from James assures us that when we ask God for wisdom in faith, He gives generously.

As we walk with wise companions and seek God daily, He faithfully guides our steps toward His best for our lives.
