Hot on the heels of December 2020’s buzz-creating first demo "Exponential Decay", two-piece ‘Rasterized Death Metal’ band PERILAXE OCCLUSION from Ontario, Canada present a more dynamic, more expansive and even heavier 3-song second demo "Raytraces Of Death".

These new tracks are the perfect blend of old-school Finnish and contemporary low-slung organic Death Metal from the Americas; a crushing, churning and elastic riff-fest of HM2-tinged chainsaw guitars, thick growling bass, forceful drumming and perfectly guttural vocals which deliver unique lyrics based upon 3D modelling, rendering techniques, optical illusions and death.

Brutal, atmospheric, skewed, complex and eminently headbangable, "Raytraces Of Death" is top-drawer twisted Death Metal which sets out a frighteningly bright future for a young band that arrived fully formed.
