A Reminder of why I joined the 104th Battalion -1 Year Service Medal

I am here to remind you guys why I joined the 104th. It has been a full year since I have joined, and it has been the greatest Journey I have taken so far. This really is family.
I have gotten some questions about why I do the 104th battalion. Why play a game that is said to be dying, when I could be getting more views from Apex Legends or some other game? It is because I enjoy it. I enjoy the 104th community, making great friends and family. Here is what I said on the discord channel when I reached 1 year.


It has been a full year now since I have joined the 104th. When I first joined I was placed into Crimson, SL Gunum CT-15791 has shown me what it means to be one of Crimson. SL Tako CT-34367 has been a inspiration to me, pushing me to do better. I remember the original days when this wasn't a Squadron, but a Flight. The good old days those where. Gunum was FL and Tako was a fellow CT, Crimson 1-3. I am saddened by the separation, but it has shown me how to adapt to new circumstances, having had my own flight temporarily at one point, Specter flight, getting a taste of leadership before my schedule got in the way and there where some changes in staff.
I will always remember the old days, but I look forward to the new. This year is only the first, and it for sure will not be the last one. God be dammed I leave before I get my flight back.
I had a dream that I would be here for the community, showing the Poise and Decorum required to fully call myself one of you guys. The Crimson is my family, my brothers. Nothing is going to take that away, no matter where I might end up in the future.
Remember the ways of old, and prepare for the days of new.

This is what I strive for, doing the 104th Battalion. This milsim has shaped me to be a better person- literally, not an exaggeration. I actually try to understand what my precalc/trig teacher is teaching us so that I can keep my grade up, so that I can continue to join in on 104th raids and stay in this awesome community.
