Railfanning along the CSX CC Subdivsion from Ryland Heights to Cynthiana Kentucky!

Описание: On the morning of 5/4/25, I made my way over to the CSX CC Subdivision, in hopes of catch CSX L348, the Cincinnati to Patio and return job heading back north with 7868 leading, one of several dash 8s back active on the roster. I set up at Robinson Kentucky, where I then discovered the LE Dispatcher had lined B661 to come south first, and meet L348 at Licking, the next siding south of there. Leading B661 on that morning would be YN2 AC44 and a CN Dash 9. Moments after they cleared the CP, the Northbound signal switched to approach, then to clear for L348. Upon L348's arrival into Robinson, I discovered they were running lite power and had no cars, in which was a little disappointing. Anyhow, I followed L348 to Springlake, in Ryland Heights Kentucky. Thinking this would be the last catch of the trip, but just after they cleared, I was greeted to a medium clear signal lined South. So I walked back to the other end of the Springlake CP to shoot the searchlights. The train in question was B499, an empty stone train up from Russell Kentucky, bound for Mount Vernon Kentucky. With CSX 1721, a SD23T4 in the lead, first time seeing one of these leading a train. After catching them there, I moved back South to CP Licking, in Cynthiana Kentucky to catch them splitting the searchlights there. Overall, B661, and the B499 made up for the unfortunate events of L348 running lite power. I hope you will enjoy the video and as always, make sure to leave a like and subscribe!
