SATURDAY COURSE:
Take a step back in time and review the way Illinois law and politics have combined to brew major corruption scandals. From the removal of Cook County judges in Operation Greylord in the 1980s to more recent struggles involving the Governor's office, this program goes in-depth into what Illinois attorneys can learn from the past, how the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct compete with political and professional pressures in the context of both legal and political matters and what reforms might make the Illinois of the future a little less prone to a culture of corruption.
