Primăvara 2010 - Ploiești cumpără 24 troleibuze Neoplan ex-Lausanne pentru 150.000 EUR bucata
August 2010 - intră în trasee
Sâmbetele și dumincile din lunile iunie-septembrie Bd. Independenței este închis între Gara de Sud și Str. Lupeni, iar rețeaua de contact nu este alimentată începând de la separatorul de la Palatul Culturii. Traseele de troleibuz funcționează pe un traseu deviat până la Gara de Sud în mod diesel.

The trolleybuses are detoured on streets without overhead on their way to Gara de Sud and run on diesel mode.
