Well, that was interesting. July 1st is a day that many are hoping will lead their team to greater places in the future (and may eventually end up regretting in a few years). It's a day that can add the final piece or two to give them the extra boost towards playoff contention. Regardless of what may happen, a lot of money is being thrown around to secure it (over $500 million on the first day alone).
