As you can see from our test comparisons, Spectra Photosync IRD easily outperforms Porsche's Thermal Insulated Glass factory option. And when applied on top of Thermal Glass, the heat blocking performance is drastically improved. Do keep in mind that heat gains not just through the glass, but through the entire car. If your car is parked outdoors in hot weather, the interior of the car will still get hot....just not as hot with this tint.

The addition or use of Spectra Photosync IRD helps with the overall driving comfort and reduces the need to turn up the AC or Heater, hence eating away at the car's range.
