In the reconstruction process of Somalia, the adoption of the Somali New Deal Compact that was signed in September 2013 marked a significant milestone. The Somali compact provided a new political, security and developmental architecture that helped frame the future relations between Somalia, its people and the international community. The Compact was a country-led process that sought to strengthen capacities, ownership and mutual accountability, supported by the international community.
This Documentary Film highlights achievements registered during the Somali New Deal Compact and UNDP’s crucial involvement in making the compact a success.
