The reverse hyper is an effective posterior chain exercise that works the entire back side of the body at once, including the hamstrings, glutes, and erector spinae.
Lie with your torso across a sturdy table or bench, draping your legs over the edge and grasping the edges of the table. Your knees should be straight. Keeping your torso locked into place, raise your legs, making sure to squeeze the glutes up top and prevent overextension of your low back. Lower your legs to the starting position, keeping your spine stable and making sure not to round the low back.
