A shocking incident took place at Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad where a fake doctor allegedly stole gold from a patient.

According to reports, a woman wearing a white coat pretended to be a doctor and entered the patient's room. The patient, Sudharani from Old Bowenpally, was undergoing treatment and was scheduled to be discharged soon.

The fake doctor reportedly asked the patient's relatives to leave the room for treatment. She then gave a sedative injection to the patient and stole around 10 tolas of gold jewelry from her.

After the theft, the woman escaped from the hospital. When the relatives returned to the room, they found that the gold jewelry was missing.

The hospital management reportedly said they do not know who the woman was. The patient's family has filed a police complaint and the investigation is underway.
