HELP! The Hawaiian Feathered Friends Network Needs Your HELP! We just rescued 12 Macaws!

The club received a call a few days ago about 12 adult blue and gold Macaws living in a horrible situation. Several members went this weekend to negotiate their rescue. Today all the birds were rescued by HFFN. The club made the decision to pay the ransom and transport all the birds to parrot sanctuary on the mainland where they can live out their lives with professional care. We have secured a sponsorship from the airlines, acceptance for the entire flock into a sanctuary and temporary safe housing until their transport. Unfortunately all of these poor birds need immediate vet care and medicine due to years of poor diet and neglect. We need your help to make this happen.

We make it a point to help other organizations when asked. This is the 1st time we are asking for help ourselves. Please help us get these birds the care they need right now. Time is of the essence. Every little bit counts and all help is appreciated.
