The Prince of Wales, and Prince Harry, left London on Tuesday for a visit to South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland - their first such trip since the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.
On Saturday, father and son will be the guests of honour at a fundraising concert in South Africa starring the British music group - the Spice Girls.
The Prince of Wales, accompanied by his son Prince Harry, boarded a British Airways flight at London's Heathrow Airport, on Tuesday, bound for Africa.
It's the first, official, overseas trip by the heir to the throne since his former wife, Diana, was killed in a car crash, in Paris, on the 31st of August, 1997.
Among their duties, father and son will arrive in Swaziland on Wednesday, then will travel onto Lesotho.
But they won't just be carrying out their official duties.
On Saturday, along with South African President Nelson Mandela, they'll be the guests of honour at the Two Nations Concert featuring the Spice Girls and a host of local musicians.
The concert aims to celebrate the spirit of cooperation between Britain and South Africa.
It'll help to support the work of The Nations Trust, a charity set up by Queen Elizabeth the Second which helps young people set up businesses.
The Spice Girls are a favourite with Charles after performing at a Prince's Trust charity concert event earlier this year.
The princes' trip ends on the 5th of November.
