Erythropoiesis is the normal physiological process by which red blood cells (RBCs) are produced, mature, and released into the circulation.

In this video, we will understand erythropoiesis in a concept-first and exam-oriented way, starting from the definition, moving through the sites of erythropoiesis at different ages, and finally explaining the stages of RBC development from stem cell to mature red blood cell.
