Some 16mm footage of facilites at RAF Cardington in about 1950. This shows the sleeping quarters, common rooms, and NAAFI facilites. There is also some sort of inspection or ceremony towards the second half. I am not sure what this is about.
It is likely that film was taken in association with R.A. McMurtrie, DSO DFC, whoe was Station Commander between 1949, and 1952, because he and his wife were I believe very keen amatuer film makers in this gauge.
