Описание: What is Galaflex? Galaflex P4HB is a polymer, a synthetic support system that is bioengineered to mimic products in our body. Why would someone have Galaflex during a breast surgery? It is used as surgical scaffolding to reinforce soft tissue at the time of surgery. Is Galaflex safe? Yes, this is mesh similar to sutures used in the operating room. Is Galaflex permanent? No, the mesh is temporary. It is absorbed and the body builds stronger tissue where the mesh was. The use of this mesh can create what is most commonly known as an internal bra. Please note the use of Galaflex in a breast procedure is considered off-label.
