Hyderabad is now the state of India but before independence in 1947, Hyderabad was one of the wealthiest states in the world. Hyderabad had decided to stay independent but the Indian army invaded Hyderabad and forced Nizam Mir Osman Ali khan to hand over Hyderabad to India. Nizam wanted to merge Hyderabad with Pakistan but Indian Army brutally attacked and murdered thousands of Muslims to force Nizam to give Hyderabad to India.
