व्हेज दालचा बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १/२ कप चणाडाळ
• सोया चंक्स
• १/२ चमचा हळद
• ३~४ हिरव्या मिरच्या
• पाणी
• ३ चमचे तेल
• १/२ चमचा जिरं
• १~२ तमालपत्र
• १~२ दालचिनी
• २~३ लवंगा
• २~३ काळी मिरी
• बारीक चिरलेला कांदा
• बारीक चिरलेला टोमॅटो
• १ मोठा चमचा लाल तिखट
• १ मोठा चमचा धनेपूड
• १/२ गरम मसाला
• दुधी भोपळ्याचे मोठे तुकडे
• १/२ कप पाणी
• चिंचेचा कोळ

Veg dalcha is one of the most requested recipe. Though we are making veg dalcha there is an alternative for non veg or meat for you. It is a very easy and simple recipe. It tastes just awesome. It can be a good variation to your regular dal. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Chana dal
• Soya chunks
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 3~4 Green chilies
• Water
• 3 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1~2 Bay leaves
• 1~2 Cinnamon sticks
• 2~3 Cloves
• 2~3 Black peppercorns
• Finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Tomato
• 1 tbsp Red chili powder
• 1 tbsp Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp Garam masla
• Salt to taste
• Bottle gourd chopped into big chunks
• 1/2 cup Water
• Tamarind pulp
Method:
• Wash chana dal really good 2-3 times with water and soak it in enough water for at least 4-5
hours.
• Soak soya chunks for about 15-20 minutes in water and squeeze all the water from it.
• Transfer the soaked dal, soaked soya chunks into a cooker and add turmeric powder, green
chilies, lot of water.
• Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 4-5 whistles.
• Mash everything well together.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• You can use ghee or butter in place of oil.
• Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
• Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns and mix well.
• Add onion and fry until it turns nice golden.
• Add tomato and fry everything together for another 3-4 minutes.
• Add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and fry everything for about a
minute.
• Add bottle gourd and mix well.
• Cover and steam the bottle gourd.
• After about 2 minutes of cooking add water and mix well.
• Cover and cook until bottle gourd is cooked nice and soft for about 10-15 minutes.
• Add the mashed dal and mix well.
• Add tamarind pulp and mix well.
• Cover and cook on medium heat for another 7-8 minutes.
• Veg dalcha is all ready.
