GPU Side - Compressed Measurement: 1mm (VRAM/VRM).
Go slightly thicker for better contact so ~roughly 1.2mm 'fresh' pads would be perfect.
Backplate Side: 4mm

For the Final Result I used:
Upsiren OEM Thermal Pad 21w 100x100mm - 1.25mm VRAM/VRM.
Upsiren Thermal Pad 15w/mk 85x45mm - 4mm Backplate.
Upsiren PCM-1 Phase Change Pad - GPU Die - 30x40mm would be enough.
32x18mm 4mm Copper Heatsinks x3
70x20mm 4mm Copper Heatsinks x2

For those curious or less familiar with GPU repadding, normally you'd repaste & optionally repad on older GPUs when the hotspot delta has creeped too high due to pump-out or the pads have deteriorated,, I underclock so mine was fine before tearing it down, my main goal was just to get the Memory junction(VRAM) temp lower & closer to the core hotspot given they share the same heatsink. I'm well aware temps were already more than fine prior so this was completely unnecessary, just a 'for science' thing.

As for the putty fail, I seriously watched putty application videos to apply it liberally but it just does not go on the way I expected. The texture of putty is so strange to work with & doesnt give the confidence a properly sized pad does, it compressed down VERY easily so I'm sure I was packing it too heavily which used it up fast & probably not thick enough, yet it seemed to work fine so idk.

If you do still opt to go UTP-8 or some other putty after seeing this, get at least 50G and only do the VRAM with a thick layer, leave the VRM alone if the stock pads still look fine, running a GPU benchmark or two prior also helps everything come apart more easily.
