Babina Chabungbam is a research scholar at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, JNU, New Delhi. She works on the classical dance of Manipur, Raas Leela and focuses on the socio-cultural and political contestations surrounding Manipuri dance. She is also a performing artist in Narmada Cultural Organisation, a Manipuri classical and folk dance group, based in Delhi.
Babina spoke with Anjulika Thingnam Samom, who leads the Cultures of Peace project with Zubaan.
