Описание: The North Star observation capsule on Royal Caribbean Quantum Ultra Class Cruise Ship Odyssey of the Seas!! We took a ride when the ship was docked at Napels, Italy [at 05:59 in this video].

Another great innovation in the cruise industry on the Quantum Class and Quantum Ultra Class ships, located at the forward end of the top deck. It uses a 7.1-tonne (7.8 short-ton) glass-walled capsule on the end of a 41-meter-long (135 ft) crane arm to lift groups of up to 14 guests up and over the edge of the ship reaching heights of up to 91 metres (300 ft) above sea level. The North Star is winner of the Guinness World Record for tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship. The North Star can also be found on Quantum of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas and Spectrum of the Seas.

There is a fee for the Extended Experience which is on sea days. When docked at the ports its free to ride. Reservation is needed.
