AGF PURGEnVENT 7900 Air Vent

Описание: To help reduce pipe corrosion, NFPA 13, 2016 edition added a requirement that all wet sprinkler systems include an air vent. Developed with input from contractors, the AGF patented PURGEnVENT 7900 AAV automatic air venting valve is the most compact, simple to install and offers the widest variety of installation options. The unique patented conical design prevents water discharge, eliminating the need for redundancy. Key features of the 7900 include an integrated isolation valve, barrel strainer and purge valve with cap and garden hose thread eliminating extra connections and potential leak points. The purge valve provides easy accessed and strainer flushing capabilities to simplify service in the field, reduces labor time and fulfills NFPA 25 requirements.
Additionally, the extra purge valve allows for venting large amounts of air from the system and expedites the filling and draining process. It can also act as a vacuum break to help protect grooved couplings in the system. Reduced labor costs are one of the benefits of faster system filling and draining.
Code recommends installing the 7900 near the highest point of each system. To continually and automatically vent trapped air, the isolation valve should remain open while the system is operational but should be closed before a hydrostatic test. The AGF PURGEnVENT 7900V is UL Listed and FM Approved and approved by the California State Fire Marshal.
