It is one of the highest water falls in the Jharkhand state (34th in India) and one of the most famous tourist places in the state.In the rainy season it takes a great look, but in the dry season it turns into an attractive picnic spot.Below Hundru Falls there is a pond,which serves as a bathing place and it is completely safe.You can play in water, even take your children in water for bathing & playing.The view is awesome.For this reason,Many tourists visit Hundru Falls every year.

ROAD VIEW :On the way to Hundru, you will be mesmerized by the beautiful scenery of nature on both sides of the road like rows of shale forests, small hills, hilly trees and the murmur of waterfalls,whose touch can be felt in Hundru Falls .

ROAD DIRECTION : From Howrah (391 km) / Sealdah (398 km) station, you have to reach Ranchi station by train and from there you can take a private car (42 km) to Hundru Falls or you can rent a car from your home to Hundru.Flight: Hundru falls 50 km from Birsa Munda International Airport (Ranchi).

TIME : Sunday to Saturday - 8:00 am to 4:30pm.

TICKET : Entry Fee : Rs 10/ per head, Ropeway : Rs 300/ per head, Boat or Raft : Rs 40/ per head.

BEST TIME TO VISIT : September to March is the best time to visit Hundru Falls.

LOCATION : Ranchi district,Jharkhand,India.

ELEVATION : 456 metres ( 1496 ft ).

STEPS : 745 steps to reach at the foot of the falls.

TOTAL HEIGHT : 98 metres (322ft).
