🇨🇭 Free Bear Park in Bern?! + Zurich City Stroll | Filipino Travel Vlog Switzerland

Welcome to Day 7 of our Switzerland trip — our last full travel day before flying out!

Since we’re already tired from the past few adventure-filled days, we planned a slower day and visited Bern and Zurich from our base in Thun.

Our first stop: Bern Bear Park — and yes, it’s free of charge! 🐻
Ang saya because this was our first time seeing bears in real life, and the entire park is super accessible. We stored our luggage at the Bern train station, then rode a tram going to the park (still covered by the Berner Oberland Pass).

From the Bear Park, we walked all the way back to the station and unexpectedly passed by a lot of Bern’s famous landmarks — perfect for a chill sightseeing day.

For lunch, we ate at Piazza Italia, and their pesto pasta and truffle pizza were both 10/10! 🍝🍕

After lunch, we headed to Zurich — we had to buy separate tickets because our Berner Pass coverage ends in Bern. When we arrived, we were shocked at how massive the Zurich train station is… parang airport! 😅

We rested in our Airbnb for a bit and went out around 6 PM to do a relaxed walk around the city. We ended the night with beers and chips on our balcony — simple but perfect. 🍺✨

A slow day but a memorable one. Switzerland, you are beautiful until the very end. 🇨🇭
