Using the best tools to replace a tap and alter pipes!

Описание: Welcome back to the channel on today’s video. I got caught out to a customers house to swap out their kitchen sink up and to be able to swap it. Some pipework alterations have to be done so I’ve used the best tools available to change the tap and alter the Plumbing.

I’ve recently got a new tool which is the bigidesign bit bar 2 which is a very cool bit holder that you can use the bits in the end as a screwdriver, I love the titanium tools so it was good to show it off.

Changing a tap is super easy using specific tools, especially the Nerrad tappex kit which I’ve adapted using the Deen ratchet which helps in tight areas as the handle twists.

The old seals was removed from the pipe using my monument olive cutter which makes light work of removing them. Cleaning the pipe is easily don’t for pressing or soldering using the drill pipe cleaners from techers.

The press fittings I use are from Viega which are the best in the world and to crimp them the Ridgid 251 is really hard to beat!

After the pies was connected I attached the flexible hose connectors using the hand spanner’s also from techers. This gives the perfect amount on tightness on flexibles as all they need is hand tight and a little more.
