Jamuary 2026 day 5 - modular synth improvisation with Digitakt2 and Roland TR-8 (140bpm)

Описание: Today's jam features the modular synth, the ‪@WeAreElektron‬ Digitakt2 and the ‪@rolandglobal‬ TR-8 (still my go-to drum machine for making beats on the fly).

I kept it pretty simple on this one, with a bassline (‪@StudioElectronics‬ Slim-O through the #mutableinstruments Ripples), a doubled-up ostinato (‪@intellijel‬ Atlantis, and the ‪@Dreadbox-synths‬ Dysmetria) and a simple lead (‪@busycircuits‬ MCO through the ‪@EricaSynths‬ Black Dual VCF).

The drums are done on the modular (‪@ShakmatModular‬ Battering Ram and the ‪@patchingpanda‬ Hatz v2), the Digitakt2 and the TR-8 - there are lots of hi-hats on in this one!

Modular sequencing is done on the ‪@oxiinstruments‬ Oxi One Mk1, with a clock being sent to the Digitakt2 and the TR-8.

Although it's at 140bpm it feels quite chilled and not too hectic - what do you think?
