In this video I make a dress using a pattern designed by house of Worth and published in 1927. In this era when home sewing and sewing patterns were really on the rise, lots of high end fashion houses would design patterns for home sewists to use. I use a very slippery silk as my fabric and show techniques that will make working with such materials easier.
