Gibson Les Paul style guitar build - part 1 - painting the body

I am finally sharing the process around my Les Paul guitar build.
Unfortunately, I have not recorded body preparation before paining,
there will be however many opportunities to explain it later on another occasion.

I am trying to show you what is my thought process and all the steps to put this guitar together.

Mahogany body with maple top had to be sealed with wood fillers on mahogany side (maple does not require sealing) and then everything got sprayed with 2 coats of guitar sealer and sanded again before spraying with ColorTone Red translucent lacker.

Guitar was assembled and plays nicely before any paint work.
This body did not have any holes for the bridge so everything had to be drilled and adjusted. I am very happy with the neck. It does not buzz on the first try without the need to do any fretwork.

This part is mostly about paining.
There is a lot yet to be done, but I got to the point it looks gorgeous and it's so satisfying to see the woodgrain through the red translucent lacker.
I only hope the videos can show this.
