Описание: With the unexpected popularity of our previous video on Wheel and Tire balancing, and the feedback we've gotten over the past year it became apparent we should make a more detailed follow up video so here it is! Now, full disclosure here, not every shop has every capability we show here. We have some of the best tire balancing and tire mounting equipment money can buy.

With the Hunter Tire Mounting machine, which is a $20,000 piece of equipment you have essentially a touchless "Damage free" option for mounting a tire on just about any wheel. Especially when working with aluminum wheels or lighter metals you have a LOT of opportunities to damage the wheel, so removing any potential contact point is extra insurance.

In this video we are using a set of wheels "reconditioned" true BBS wheels for a Maserati, mounting a set of Dunlop 35 and 30 series tires. Another thing you will note, the lower the sidewall size, the more difficult it is to mount! If you've ever priced out tire mounting and balancing you'll have noted often times as the side wall size goes down, the price goes up.

After mounting is done, we move on to our Hunter Tire Balancer that in addition to allowing a proper standard spin balance, allows us to do road force balancing as well. With road force balancing we can force match the wheel and tire together, not only decreasing the vibrations in the wheel and tire assembly but also decreasing the amount of weight needed to get it into balance. Less weight means less cost, more efficiency, and in the racing world a LITTLE less rotational mass!

We cover a LOT in this one video, including issues many shops face with used wheels, they aren't always perfect even if they have recently been reconditioned! As a shop it's always a good idea to inspect your parts before any work begins, as you'll see that pays off for us and our customer here as we quickly spot an issue. It covers not only US from any potential complaints or damages, but also shows our customer we aren't trying to hide anything we've done.
