Is there space for another CD tool? What are the gaps present in existing tools? Are workflows evolving and there are unmet needs that warrant new tools to be developed? This talk contains answers to these questions and more. The focus will be on questions that the larger technology community does not have answers to. While everyone understands the need for a CD tool, there still isn't consensus around what the feature set shoul be for the ideal one. The talk will dissect the taxonomy of CD tools available in the market starting with Jenkins and leading up to the (recently launched) Pipecd project.
