Noida Protest: Violent Factory Protest Over Wage Hike Sees Workers Vandalise Property And Torch Cars

Описание: A massive protest by factory workers demanding a significant wage hike has turned violent, with demonstrators resorting to arson and vandalism. The workers, who are currently paid around 11,000 rupees a month, are demanding an increase to the minimum wage of 18,000 to 20,000 rupees in accordance with labour laws. At the JAG Power factory, angry workers broke down gates, vandalised CCTV cameras, and pelted stones, while employees inside fled for their safety. The situation escalated further as protesters set cars on fire and damaged factory assets. With no police or security personnel visible at the scene, the unrest has led to widespread chaos. The workers have vowed to continue their agitation and halt all factory work until their financial demands are addressed by the management.
