Elliott Murphy is an American rock singer-songwriter, novelist, producer and journalist living in Paris. His career spans nearly 50 years and more than 40 albums.
Murphy's music is described as a blend of poetic lyricism and hard-edged rock and roll.
His songs often tell stories, resonating with audiences and critics through their narrative quality.
He has received significant cultural recognition, particularly in France, where he was awarded the Médaille de la Ville de Paris and named a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres.
In 2018, he was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame by his friend, Billy Joe.
