Ableton Track Breakdown - Marc Spence - All You

In this video, I dive into the full Ableton project for “All You”, the first release on my new label Dirty Dungeon Records. It’s that small-room, early-morning, after-after-hours type of vibe — deep, rolling, minimal, with that early Dirtybird-style 808 bass and hypnotic melodies weaving through the track.
I go through the tools and techniques I used to bring it together — from tightening the kick and shaping the bass, to building the groove, sequencing melodies, and adding the small bits of automation that give it movement and feel.

It’s more of a creative breakdown than a technical mix-focused one — showing how the track came together naturally inside Ableton. You’ll see some of the synths, racks, and workflows I’ve been using to build this sound.
Quick heads-up — this one was recorded in mono (yeah, classic moment). So you’ll miss a bit of the stereo image and reverb, but it doesn’t affect the main idea of what’s going on. From now on, all future videos will be recorded in full stereo so you’ll get the proper sound.
