Wiecher Troost’s journey is a testament to the power of doing what you’re passionate about.
In the early 2000s, what began as a block jam with friends in Amsterdam’s Oosterpark evolved into Appelsap Festival – a homegrown celebration of hip-hop and electronic music that became a mainstay in the Dutch cultural calendar.
From there, his work expanded into fashion and sustainability at G-Star RAW, where he helped bring projects like “RAW for the Oceans” to life alongside Pharrell Williams. More recently, at Amsterdam Dance Event, he’s continued to build platforms and curate experiences that bring people together through music and creativity.
