Urban flooding risks may increase in major cities during intense rain events, while river flows are expected to rise significantly due to both rainfall and glacier melting in northern areas.

Southern Pakistan, including Sindh and parts of southern Balochistan, may also receive several monsoon spells during July and August. However, rainfall distribution is often uneven in these regions, meaning some districts may receive heavy rains while others remain relatively dry. Cotton, rice, maize, and sugarcane growers should remain prepared for changing moisture conditions throughout the season.

Looking ahead to September, monsoon activity is expected to gradually weaken, though occasional rain spells may continue, particularly in northern Pakistan. Temperatures should begin to moderate as the season progresses.
