It was one year ago today that Tom was critically injured in a traffic accident. He remains in a nursing facility, learning how to speak again and working to regain movement in his limbs and fingers. In this video from November of 2015, he sight-reads a new composition by Reginald Robinson and John-Reed Torres, which John asked him to try.
John asks Tom afterward if he can identify which strain John wrote, but Tom guesses wrong. He comments, "Maybe you don't know what you sound like!" to which John jokes, "I sound like this; can't you hear my voice?"
