An extremely limited edition and wonderful Les Paul found its way to the shop recently, to everyone's delight. This aged model is from the Gibson Custom Shop's 'Murphy Lab', and strives to capture the patina of Sergio Vallin's modified 1955 Goldtop. A stunning collector piece, and even more impressive instrument.
Dave plays through a Fender 68 Custom Vibrolux (panned left) and a Marshall SC20 JCM800 (panned right). Pedals in-line include a Dunlop JHF1 Fuzz Face, Keeley Red Dirt, and Benson Germanium Boost. The Boost is the only pedal engaged during this demo, just after the two minute mark.
