In a major development in the Kinnar murder case near Sifa on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, the main accused Krishna Kandi was injured in a police encounter conducted by Pipili Police last night. The incident occurred when police attempted to arrest him and he allegedly tried to escape by opening fire. He was injured in retaliatory firing, with a bullet hitting his leg.
