Great Northern Class 313 Farewell Tour Across the Network - 23/10/19

Описание: Video: A compilation of the Great Northern Class 313 Farewell Tour across the Great Northern network (ECML, Hertford Loop, Northern City and Cambridge Lines), the units used were 313064 (with its DMSO in the classic BR NSE livery, and its PTSO with a farewell message) & 313134 with the fronts repainted. The tour was also a farewell tribute to the Govia Thameslink Railway Engineering Director, Gerry McFadden, who was in charge of the fleet change - hence the name 'Gerry's 313 Farewell'.
I caught the tour at various stations along the Great Northern network such as: Royston, Hitchin, Gordon Hill, Highbury & Islington, Essex Road, Harringay (by the Hornsey flyover) and finally London King's Cross.
And this marks the end of PEP units on the East Coast Main Line forever.

NOTE/FUN FACT - The 313s (particularly 313134) appeared to have their rheostatic braking re-enabled, this can be heard prominently as it arrives at Royston station.
