I'm Indonesian and my husband is Dutch.
We decided to get married in our 2nd meeting after knowing each other less than 1 year, but we feel like we have known each other for years.
We started to prepare our wedding in August 2021 with support from my husband and his family also from distance. It was tough tho with the documents, venue, etc, especially in this pandemic.
We were very lucky. The quarantine was 7 days, and then it was reduced to be 5 and 4, and finally 3 days when my husband and his parents arrived in Jakarta.
Our wedding was held on 28.11.21. 1 day after wedding, the quarantine in Indonesia was changed to be 10 days due to omicron.
Alhamdulillah our wedding went well.
