To clarify a few things:
1. Kenosha’s dispatch desperately tried canceling it multiple times. First sending out cancel times to everything, then specifically to this.
2. Trevor’s fire department is a volunteer department, so it took a while for someone to get dispatched to the scene to turn off of the disconnect.
3. P-50’s have a continuous duty cycle motor, so the motor is fine, only strained.
4. The issue was assumed to be caused by a welded relay.
5. Kenosha will most likely not replace the P-50, rather repair it, or replace the controls.
6. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department released a statement regarding the malfunction on Facebook.
